It may take some time for Bugsnax to receive the Bigsnax DLC, but it’s already on every platform for absolutely free and offers all kinds of new things. Not only does the update bring new mechanics to the game, such as a mail system and houses for building and storing items, but it also provides a whole new biome to explore.
Bigsnax Island still has 3 to 5 hours to catch the eponymous food creature on a large island off the coast of sparkling springs, but getting there and participating in it all takes a few steps. How to Get to Biggsnax Island
Getting to Bigsnax requires you to make some decent progress in the main game’s story. Let’s take a look at two options you might encounter.
If you have finished the game, you just open the game, keep saving the file, and fast travel to Snarksburg. Look around for Snorpy and talk to him, at which point he will let you know that he needs your help with a very important task. This is how the new questline begins, sending you to the island of Bigsnax.
If you are starting the game for the first time, you’ll need to advance the main story a bit and complete side quests for cute snack buddies Snorpy and Chandlo. Once you’ve knocked those down, you can find Snorpy and discover that his new dialogue will lead you on a quest to discover the secrets of Bigsnax Island – so here you go!
