Dungeons & Dragons movie gets official title, release date

The Dungeons & Dragons movie now has an official title and release date. The fantasy film based on the famous tabletop game is called Dungeons & Dragons: Glory of Thieves and will be released early next year.

As previously announced, it stars Chris Pine (Star Trek, Hell or High Water), Michelle Rodriguez (Avatar, The Fast and the Furious), Reggie Jean Page (Bridge Dayton), Justice Smith (Pokemon: Detective Pikachu), Hugh Grant (about A-Boy, True Love) and Sophia Lilith (it).

Honor in a Rogue opens in theaters on March 3, 2023. The film is directed by Spider-Man: Homecoming writers Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daly, with a screenplay written by Goldstein, Daly and Michael Giglio.

The original Dungeons & Dragons movie, released in 2000 starring Oscar winner Jeremy Irons, was a commercial flop and received a poor response from critics.

Plot details for the 2023 film have yet to be revealed, but fans can expect it to feature Dungeons & Dragons.
