MLB The Show 22 full list of achievements and trophies

MLB The Show 22 is now open to everyone, which means both PlayStation and Xbox players can start trying to clear their achievement and trophy lists. The game has 25 achievements and trophies, and the PlayStation has an additional Platinum trophy. Much of the list is something that happens naturally in dozens of baseball games, some of which require specific difficulty settings. Only a few require some dedication, but even then the overall list isn’t too difficult.

Overall, this list is relatively achievable, with only a few items that require your concentration. Things like Professional Framer, Fight Fire with Fire, and Don’t rub it all happen naturally in regular gameplay, so you don’t need to focus on them. Some, like coming in the heat – which requires you to catch up to a line driver with speeds over 110 MPH – are pretty much out of your control, although it’s likely to happen naturally.

As for achievements that require some effort on your part, Dynamic Difficulty achievements will appear over time as long as you select the Dynamic Difficulty option. With this option enabled, the game will slowly increase the difficulty to match your own skills, and since achievements are for lower difficulties, it shouldn’t be a big deal.

Achievements you might want to look out for are Big Fly Ohtani San, Base Collector, Four-bagger Express, and Double Sided Bat Flip. Big Fly Ohtani San requires you to hit a home run with the starting pitcher, which takes some effort as DH means that pitchers don’t usually hit the ball in either league. Obviously, you can play the angel and have Daegu on the mound and bat as a DH. Double-sided bat flips will require conversion hitters in your lineup who need to face both left-handed and right-handed pitchers in the game and hit from both sides of the plate.

For any achievement that doesn’t seem natural, you’ll want to set up an exhibition match and use the difficulty slider to increase your chances. For home runs in the park, you will need fast players, use sliders to increase your chances of hitting, and increase the number of errors the CPU makes. Ultimately, nothing on this list requires a lot of grinding or ridiculous luck.
