Resident Evil Re:Verse is coming to Resident Evil Village Gold Edition in October
After its original launch with Resident Evil Village last May, Resident Evil Re:Verse will launch on October 28, the same day as the new Gold Edition of Resident Evil Village.
Re:Verse is a PvP multiplayer deathmatch game where players control characters from the Resident Evil universe. Playable characters announced so far include Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield from Resident Evil 2 Remake, Jack Baker from Resident Evil 7, and the iconic monster Tyrant and Nemesis .

Re:Verse was first announced in early January 2021 as part of the series’ 25th anniversary celebration. It was pitched as a free-to-play, standalone multiplayer mode available to Resident Evil Village owners, but after an open beta that spring — and reception wasn’t particularly positive — it was delayed until summer. It was then pushed back to 2022, and Capcom has been mum on the game until now.
Re:Verse joins Shadow of the Rose — a brand new DLC chapter starring Ethan Winters’ daughter Rose — and a new third-person mode in Resident Evil Village Gold, coming October 28 on Xbox One , available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC.
