Trek To Yomi gets lengthy gameplay video and May 5 release date

Publisher Devolver Digital’s upcoming samurai action game Trek to Yomi has released a new 30-minute gameplay trailer that also confirms a May 5 release date.
In case you missed its release at E3 2021, Trek to Yomi will put you in Hiroki’s sandals as he travels through the Edo-era Japanese countryside to protect his village and loved ones. Developer Flying Wild Hog’s visual design uses a retro black and white filter to give the game the look of old samurai movies straight from the Akira Kurosawa catalog.
Beyond this beauty, you can expect plenty of 2D hacking and slashing as you use Hiroki’s deadly skills to face threats from beyond life and death
If that sounds appealing to you, Trek to Yomi is launching next month on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. Xbox Game Pass subscribers can also play from day one, like Weird West, another game recently released by Devolver Digital.
