Alienware Unveils New Ryzen Gaming PCs and Gaming Laptops

Alienware is introducing an updated version of its Aurora Ryzen Edition R14 gaming PC, along with two new gaming laptops featuring AMD’s latest and greatest gaming CPUs.
If you pick up the facelifted Alienware Aurora Ryzen Edition R14 gaming computer You can now configure it with the “world’s fastest gaming CPU” Ryzen 7 5800X3D. The company has also made improvements to the system’s water cooling, claiming its new “Advanced Liquid Cooler” option can increase “thermal resistance” by 42 percent over a standard cooler. However, it is unclear how this translates to operating temperatures at idle or under load.
To conquer the portable gaming PC arena, Alienware also released its most powerful 15-inch laptops, including the Alienware m15 R7. Equipped with an AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, it will undoubtedly be a serious contender for the title of best gaming laptop. A larger 17-inch version, the Alienware m17 R7, is scheduled to arrive later this year.
Meanwhile, the new Dell G15 helps round out Alienware’s offering with a more affordable option. That said, you can still outfit this unsuspecting device with up to an AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti. The Alienware Aurora Ryzen R14 starts at $2,949, but you’ll find the Alienware m15 R7 for no less than $1,500. Finally, you can buy the Dell G15 for $900.
