Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla’s next major DLC is a week away, but in the meantime, the developers have at least one update for the title at your disposal. It adds…are you ready? This is an idiot. An era update. Something a player will remember for years to come. One I’m introducing for comic effect. This patch will “improve stability and game performance”.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Title Update 1.5.0.1 has been released on PS5 and hits PC and the rest of the game on Wednesday, March 2 at 4AM PST / 7AM EST / 12PM GMT machine. The PC download is 7.5GB, but the console patch is smaller, from 0.5GB to 2.9GB

You can get full details on the official site, but seriously, the promise of “improved stability and game performance” marks what these patch notes are all about. Hopefully these improvements will be substantial, but it’s likely to be a big cleanup ahead of Ragnarok’s launch.

Dawn of Ragnarok is set to land on March 10.
