Death Stranding Director’s Cut Coming to PC March 30, Upgrade Option for $10
Publisher 505 Games has announced that the Director’s Cut of Death Stranding will launch on PC on March 30. Director’s Cut for the world’s first “chain”-based open-world game will be available on the Epic Games Store and Steam, and existing owners of Death Stranding on PC will be able to purchase upgrades, similar to the way the new version is available on PlayStation consoles provided above.
Additionally, existing owners have the option to transfer any progress they made in the original Death Stranding to Director’s Cut. The developers say they will provide more details on this process closer to the release date.
As for pricing, the standalone version of Death Stranding’s Director’s Cut is $39.99 / £43.99. The upgrade price is $9.99 (or equivalent in your area). 505 Games says you must have Death Stranding installed in order for the upgrade price to show up when purchasing Director’s Cut. However, they point out that Death Stranding is currently 70% off as part of Steam’s Lunar New Year sale, priced at just $17.99/£16.49.
