Dying Light 2’s first free DLC has been revealed
Techland has released the first free DLC for its recently released zombie sandbox game Dying Light 2. We already knew the game had at least five years of post-launch support, including “new stories, new locations, in-game events, and all the fun stuff you like” – and now the first goodies in the pipeline have passed the teaser Film revealed.
The first Dying Light 2 DLC is called the Definitive Pack, and it will contain three separate components, all themed around a powerful and tyrannical peacekeeping faction. The first pack will include some makeup — a jacket corset, some jogging pants and sneakers — in a moody dark gray-blue. The second part follows a similar theme, adding a matching mask-style headgear, bracers, and gloves to the mix.
Finally, the third part is a new weapon – a massive two-handed melee contraption that looks like a gruff hammer, with four tubes forming four large bolts at its business end. It’s safe to say that I’m pretty sure Aiden Caldwell’s enemies won’t like to take it all.
As for when you’ll be able to get the goods, Techland notes at the end of the trailer (below) that the first pack will be available starting today (February 14th). It’s unclear when the rest will drop, but considering they’re all minor cosmetic items bundled in the same package, we can safely assume soon.
