Elden Ring, retro games and porn top the February Steam charts

Valve posted its regular blog on Steam last month, and in February it was a particularly eclectic mix that included Elden Ring, a remastered retro game, and yes, some porn. Valve doesn’t provide precise details on where these versions are ranked, but the list does give us a good idea of what’s trending on Steam.
These are the top 20 games released on Steam in February, ranked by revenue generated in the first two weeks after launch. For games released at the end of the month, like Elden Ring, some revenue from March will also be counted – whether or not it fits into the two-week sales window. With that in mind, it’s no surprise to see big new releases like Elden Ring, Dying Light 2, Total War: Warhammer 3, and even the free-to-play game Lost Ark bringing in big bucks.
Steam has definitely become a haven for porn over the years, and while I don’t plan to eat anything, I just can’t fathom mining a lot of porn on a platform with a friends list. Still, February’s Top 20 includes Orc Massage, a game where you’re an orc and go out and rub some anime girls (and have sex), and Nadia’s Treasure, a visual novel (and sex) that gets you started on your loot quest (and sex).
Another notable trend here is remakes and retro games. The new Final Fantasy VI and Life is Strange remake are also on the list.
