Far Cry 6 Gets Stranger Things DLC and Free Games Weekend

Far Cry 6’s free weekend kicks off tomorrow, so anyone who wants to try the latest in the long-running FPS franchise can do it for free – whether it’s single-player or co-op. Even better, it includes free Far Cry 6 Stranger Things DLC – which drops tomorrow too.
Preloads are live now, but both the Far Cry 6 free weekend and the Stranger Things DLC launch on Thursday, March 24 at 11am PDT/2pm ET/6pm GMT . This period applies to all regions and platforms, including Ubisoft Connect and the Epic Games Store on PC, as well as PlayStation and Xbox consoles. The campaign ends at the same time on Monday, March 28.
The Stranger Things DLC is titled “The Vanishing” and it’s called “crossover quests” – so expect something on a small scale. Ubisoft didn’t provide many details about the crossover, but a brief trailer revealed the show’s in-game Demogorgon, along with some promotional art, including Far Cry 6 protagonist Dani exploring Upside Down.
