Genshin Impact 2.5 live stream confirmed, Yae Miko will be there

This round of fresh content in Genshin Impact is coming to an end. We have a new area called Enkanomiya and two other characters – Kamigawa and Yunjin, in case you missed it. Now, though, it’s time to see what happens next. Mihoyo revealed that it’s hosting a livestream to learn about Genshin Impact’s next update.
Genshin Impact’s 2.5 livestream starts on February 4th at 4AM PST / 7AM EST / 12PM GMT. As always, the stream will be hosted on the developer’s Twitch channel when the time comes, although you may want to shuffle a few minutes in advance to make sure you don’t miss anything. You’re getting something extra this time too, because Mihoyo is streaming a concert once the unveiling is over.
While we have a few tidbits to keep us going, the developers have been wary of what we’ll see. The developers have revealed a new character called Yae Miko to finish 2021. She is the maiden and “descendant of fox blood” of the Ohnauji Shrine. When not working as a religious figure, though, she’s busy editor-in-chief of Yae Publishing House, which publishes light novels.
Mihoyo usually teases a patch before the character arrives, although we can also see Yae Miko in the art in an upcoming livestream. Basically, it looks like there’s a good chance that Yae Miko will have a banner in the 2.5 update.

As ever, there is data mining.according to The Kingdom Project, we’ll get a bartending mini-game event called Of Drink A-Dreaming. Basically, you mix drinks to unlock unique dialogue options for certain characters like Kamigawa, Yura, Jean, etc. But keep in mind that this information is unconfirmed and subject to change.
We don’t have a Genshin Impact 2.5 update release date yet, but if Mihoyo sticks to its typical six-week update schedule, it could drop on February 16.
