Logitech Lightsync Now Brings The Sims 4 Little Moods to the Real World

After Logitech announced a partnership with developer Maxis earlier this week, its Lightsync gaming product ecosystem will now be integrated into The Sims 4. After a few updates, players with compatible peripherals can now expect the lighting of their settings to sync with their Sims’ moods.
In a blog post, Logitech explained that its gaming gear will light up in response to in-game events, such as when you initially launch The Sims 4 on a gaming PC and while traveling. Additionally, when players bring their Sims to visit one of the game’s many secret worlds, their peripherals will feature a color theme that matches that location.
This colorful feature should work on all Lightsync-enabled products, so don’t worry if you haven’t already spent the money on one of the company’s best gaming keyboards. However, having more compatible peripherals will make your Sims more immersive in their emotions and world, whether it’s “ooh be gah” or “bradna”.
To celebrate the collaboration, both companies have launched a competition called “The Sims x Logitech G Expression Challenge.” The prize includes two Logitech G733 gaming headsets, with a design inspired by The Sims 4, and a gaming keyboard and mouse.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen The Sims partner with a peripheral maker like Logitech. In fact, SteelSeries produced white gaming headsets and gaming keyboards years ago, complete with RGB plumbs. Fluz ty roo!
