PlayStation State of Play is essentially Sony’s take on the Nintendo Direct presentation, available via YouTube and Twitch. You can also check it out here.

It starts at 2pm PT/5pm ET and will last approximately 20 minutes. Other time zones are as follows:

  • 2 p.m. PT
  • 4 p.m. central time
  • 5 PM ET
  • 10pm GMT
  • 9 a.m. ACT (March 10)

what to expect

The 20 minutes will focus primarily on games from Sony’s Japanese publishing partners for the PS4 and PS5, though Sony says a number of other partners from around the world will also be featured. That could mean updates for games like Final Fantasy XVI, though, of course, it’s unclear what the unannounced games will be. We won’t see much more information about PSVR 2 — either hardware or gaming — so we should expect more on that later.
