Once on the ground, you’ll have to collect as much loot as you can, reach a randomly designated, ever-shrinking safe zone, and compete with others until you’re the last survivor.

never stop moving
In PUBG, even rocking back and forth, leaning or running in circles can save your life because enemies must never be allowed to shoot easily. This is especially important in a shootout: you never want to make yourself an easy target.
Working part-time as a parkour superstar doesn’t hurt either – the game is much more flexible than before, and agile, aggressive play is more feasible. Always look for some building or elevated to climb.
Play with borders, also play with blue
As long as you find some good healing options for yourself, being in the /entry/blue zone might help as it keeps you out of harm’s way longer and allows you to kill easily. You can also loot for longer periods of time.
As you get into the mid to late game, you’ll definitely want to play the boundaries of the safe zone anyway. This is a common tactic in all battle royale games, but you need to push in time as the safe zone shrinks and catch other players off guard as they often scramble to find safety.

Knowing what the best PUBG weapons are is crucial. You might be tempted to use high DPS weapons like assault rifles, submachine guns, but unless you can handle recoil effectively, your shots will be wasted and you’ll be dead.

Pay attention to the zeroing distance
Scopes in PUBG all have a zeroing distance, which is displayed when aiming the scope. If the given distance is 100 meters, then that means your bullet will land exactly where you clicked that distance. If your target is about 200 meters away, you’ll have to aim a little higher – knowing exactly where will take hours of practice and wrong trial and error, but paying attention to zeroing the distance makes the process a lot easier. You can also use PUBG’s map to calculate distances. Each white square on the in-game map is 100 square meters. So if you’re in a long-range shootout, you can take out your map, roughly determine where they are based on the landmarks, and figure out how many white lines there are between the two of you. Aim accordingly and you should be able to make delicious ranged kills.
Use the training map
For many new players, the most difficult aspect of PUBG is handling weapons. If you come from other shooters, PUBG’s weapons have a lot of recoil, so spend a lot of time in training mode to get used to different weapon types’ attacks. You don’t need to know the recoil pattern of every gun in the game before starting a match, but having a feel for the weapon will save you a lot of time later.

Not only is the frying pan the most lethal melee weapon in the game, it’s also bulletproof. If you have one in your inventory, then it will hang on the back of your character model, giving your ass full protection from enemy fire.

When it comes to using terrain to your advantage, there are a few options at your disposal. If you’re not wearing fluorescent clothing, sticking yourself in the bushes can be a very effective way to stealth, as long as you don’t move too much.
Also, you can try to hide in the grass, but be aware that the grass stops rendering if you go over a certain distance, so you won’t be able to dodge ranged snipers that way.
Other than that, common sense applies. Highlands at the edge of the map often make for good “wait and see” spots, allowing you to watch the game unfold and eliminate opponents when the right opportunity presents itself. Speaking of watching…
Patience is the key
This isn’t a game for itchy trigger fingers or traitors – just because you can see enemies doesn’t necessarily mean you should shoot them. It’s not just that you might miss or get killed by them, it’s that you don’t know who else is watching or heading towards the same goal. If you really want to increase your lethality, it’s still wise to keep fire until you can kill an enemy quickly and easily.
wear a helmet
It’s simple – headshots are lethal without a helmet, so go get one. Level 1 is fine, but honestly, even if it’s a little damaged, always keep an eye out for the best helmet.
While you’re there, buy a good vest too. High levels are good, but durability is also very important when it comes to the frenzied firefights of the late game.
Use the vehicle with care
If players know where you are in PUBG, there is a good chance they will kill you. Driving around in a noisy, bulky jeep or sedan will alert everyone in the area of your presence and make it harder to hide.
