The Witcher season 3 casts an original character and three others

The Witcher season 3 cast is adding four members, with one actor playing a brand new original character for the show. Filming on the new season began earlier this month, and Netflix has just officially revealed four more characters that will appear, along with some details on those characters.
The other three will be familiar to readers of Andrzej Sapkowski’s book series, but the new character is Gallatin, played by Robbie Amell, who is probably best known for his role as Firestorm in The CW’s Flash series. (Don’t confuse him like I did with his cousin Stephen Amell, best known as the lead character in the CW’s Arrow series.)
“A born fighter, Gallatin led a guerrilla group of squirrels fighting on behalf of Nilfgaard,” Netflix’s Official Profile explain. “Not afraid to tell the truth about him, Gallatin’s loyalty to his people eventually led him to clash with Francesca over power issues.” In addition to Gallatin, the cast also includes Milva (Meng Er Zhang), Radovid Prince (Huskinner) and Mistle (Crystal Erwin).

A release date for The Witcher 4 has been set, uh… one day, but at least CD Projekt Red has confirmed that the next game in the series is in development. (However, the studio has yet to confirm that the fourth The Witcher game will actually be called The Witcher 4.)
