YouTube star Ali-A to present new project at WASD

YouTuber Alastair ‘Ali-A’ Aiken will reveal all the details of the upcoming unannounced project tomorrow (April 9) at the inaugural WASD Game Show. You can catch all the details live at London’s Tobacco Docks or via the Twitch link we’ll share below.

The prolific content creator will appear at PCGamesN theatres at 11am BST for a fireside chat, where he will also talk about his career and how content creators have made their name in the competitive space. We’re using our sister site and streaming specialist The Loadout to host this, with staff writer Aaron Down joining Aiken on stage.

Aiken has been on YouTube for a while. At the time of writing, his main channel on the platform has 17.5 million subscribers, although he has other accounts with millions of subscribers. He plays a lot, though you’ll often find him creating content or uploading vlogs around Call of Duty and Fortnite.

If you’re not going to the show, you can watch the live stream below:

There was a lot of other stuff on the PCGamesN theater schedule that day. We’re chatting with BAFTA-winning developer Mike Bithell about his indie gaming career and other chats on topics like the four-day workweek and how to succeed on Steam.

WASD is currently in progress. In addition to tons of insightful presentations, there are plenty of upcoming PC games to play. We’ve rounded up a selection of some of the WASD curios we think you’ll dig, although there are also plenty of WASD exhibitors to check out, such as Sega, Team17 and Devolver.
