Apex Legends Mobile will launch later this month

Respawn has announced that Apex Legends Mobile is coming to Android and iOS devices later this month. The studio shared the news on the official Apex Legends mobile Twitter account, writing: “Legends change the game. But they can’t do it without you. Pre-register and get ready to join later this month!”
As of now, no official release date has been given. However, Respawn encourages players to pre-register for regular updates on game releases and the chance to play the game faster.
While the core of Apex Legends Mobile is the battle royale game players know and love, Apex Legends game director Chad Grenier said fans can expect some changes. According to Grenier, “Apex Legends Mobile is designed for touchscreens with streamlined controls and thoughtful optimizations for the most advanced battle royale combat on mobile. This is a new version of Apex Legends, but it’s the original .”
Additionally, Apex Legends Mobile will offer players a brand new battle pass, collectible cosmetic items and unlockable items. As such, the mobile port will not support cross-play with the Xbox, PlayStation, PC, and Switch versions of Apex Legends.
Before the release of Apex Legends Mobile, the only way to play Apex Legends on the go was through the Switch. In GameSpot’s Apex Legends Switch review, Jordan Ramée wrote: “Panic Button managed to make a game I love and make it work well enough on Nintendo’s hybrid console. I don’t want to keep playing it on Switch. , because it has a lot of technical concessions (and I also don’t want to introduce new players to Apex Legends in this way), but this port – in its current state – is a nice last resort.”
In other Apex Legends news, Respawn has released a new gameplay trailer for Apex Legends Season 13: Savior. In addition to new skins and enemies, the upcoming season will also add Bengaluru’s brother Jackson Williams as a new playable legend. Season 13 begins on May 10.
