On June 13th, Warzone’s upcoming map launches in the form of 12-piece puzzles that are displayed individually throughout the day.Few Call of Duty content creators like YouTuber JGOD Received map puzzles on a piece of cake, while others tweeted from accounts from Call of Duty and Raven Software.

Fortune’s Keep is described as a fast-paced, close-range map, which sounds a lot like the pacing of Warzone’s current Respawn map. It’s hard to tell from the photos, but if you match the grid sizes of the two maps, Fortune’s Keep looks like it’s actually more than twice the size of Spawn Island.

The setting of Fortune’s Keep Island is more environmentally friendly than the industrial feel of Rebirth Island, so this will likely match the lush island of Caldera. The main points of interest on the map include locations such as campsites, cemeteries, smugglers cove, lighthouses, and terraces.

Activision has yet to confirm whether Fortune’s Keep will replace Spawn Island or as a third map option. However, Season 3 will end with an “edited” event on Respawn Island. Activision’s mid-season blog post suggests that any plans to end Season 3 could destroy Prison Island, or at least result in a temporary evacuation.

Additionally, Activision released Warzone 2.0 later this year “soon” after the release of Modern Warfare 2. The Warzone map is still playable, but the two versions of Battle Royale will have separate progression and inventory tracks.
