Kyle MacLachlan, Xelia Mendes-Jones and Aaron Moten join Amazon’s Fallout series – report

According to Variety, Amazon’s Fallout series has cast Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks), Celia Mendes-Jones (Father Stu) and Aaron Morten (next) as Series regulars with undisclosed roles join its cast. The series went into production in January of this year after the first trailer was released in 2020.
Three new cast members join the previously announced cast, Ella Purnell and Walton Goggins. Other than that Goggins will play a “ghoul-like character,” little information has been shared about the roles of everyone in the video game adaptation series. Likewise, very little is known about the story the series will tackle, and whether it will adapt an existing story or tell a completely original story in a Fallout setting. Back in 2021, executive producer Lisa Joy (“Westworld”) made a small tease about the show’s planned tone, saying it’s “just a gonzo, crazy, fun, adventure and everything you get from Unseen minds.”
Todd Howard and Jason Altman from Bethesda are executive producers. As for the Fallout game series, 2018’s Fallout 76 is the latest entry in the series. The next project from developer Bethesda Game Studios is Starfield, which will be released sometime in the first half of 2023.
The Fallout TV series is one of a handful of upcoming video game titles from Amazon. Earlier this year, Amazon signed a preliminary deal with dj2 Entertainment to create game content for Prime Video, including potential adaptations of Life is Strange and Disco Elysium.
