Star Wars lightsabers and Sith Lords come to Elden Ring thanks to mods
The Elden Ring mod community continues to work its magic, this time creating lightsaber and Darth Vader mods for From Software’s RPG.
Via Eurogamer, recent creators drs2 and Xelerate offer a mod that lets players become Darth Vader and rampage across the land. Combine the Darth Vader mod with lightsaber mods – whether it’s the classic single-bladed lightsaber or Darth Maul’s iconic double-bladed lightsaber – and you’ve got a Star Wars fan game to help celebrate May 4th, again! Named Star War Day.
Various lightsaber mods can replace some of the different Elden Ring weapons and effectively act as cool skins for weapons already in the game files. Many double-bladed lightsaber mods use the powerful double-bladed Godskin Peeler weapon as the base, while another single-bladed lightsaber uses Warhawk’s Talon weapon. Meanwhile, the Darth Vader mod is based on the Confessor armor set. Each mod is available for download on the Nexus Mods for PC player, along with installation instructions.
Being able to become a Sith Lord and forge a path of destruction with a lightsaber in the Elden Ring are just a few of the recent examples of what the modding community has created. The modders were also tasked with creating a simple mod for From Software’s challenging open-world production, and having one of the game’s folk heroes “Let Me Solo Her” summons immortality as a true in-game.
Elden Ring received its latest patch on April 19, enhancing the colossal weapon, increasing the potency of various spells, and tweaking various Ashes of War weapon abilities.
If the lightsaber in the Elden Ring wasn’t enough to satisfy your Star Wars cravings, the iconic weapon has also returned to Fortnite as part of Star Wars Day, along with numerous new Star Wars skins.
