‘The Successor’ Season 4 Starts Filming, Plot Details Announced

“The Successor” season 4 has officially entered production. Season 3 of the HBO show ended in December, although it was updated until October.

The show follows a dysfunctional family that runs a media empire. A log posted by HBO reads: “In the fourth season of episode 10, media conglomerate Waystar Royco’s sale to tech visionary Lukas Matsson is getting closer. The prospect of this seismic sale has sparked a rift between the Roys. Anxiety and family divisions as they anticipate what their lives will look like once the deal is done. A power struggle ensues as the family weighs a future in which their cultural and political influence is severely diminished.

Actors Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Sarah Snook, Kieran Culkin, Alan Ruck, Matthew Macfadyen, Nicholas Braun and J. Smith-Cameron are all returning for season four. Peter Friedman, David Rasche, Fisher Stevens, Hiam Abbass, Justine Lupe, Scott Nicholson, Zoe Winters and Jenny Berlin will also return as other cast members.

All three seasons of Succession currently available are available to stream on HBO Max.
