Xur is back in the solar system in Destiny 2, and there are a few things you’ll want to pick up – including a Falling Guillotine that’s very close to a god roll, Exotics 3.0 that’s likely to serve you with Arc’s release, and Hawkmoon and Dead Some strong performances from Man’s Tale for the Crucible. Look for Xur standing on the branch of the big pink tree at the north end of the Watcher’s Graveyard.
To find Xur this week, respawn in the Watcher’s Grave transmat area, then ride north on your sparrow. Near the exit from this area, you’ll find a tree with pink moss leaning against the right wall. Climb up its branches and you’ll find Xur waiting for you.
Xur appears in Destiny 2 every weekend, starting with a daily reset every Friday at 10AM PT/1PM ET. His exact location was always a mystery when he first arrived because he wasn’t listed on the map, and he was easy to miss for novice players. However, he has a number of residences, including the Tower Hangar area, Nessus in the Warden’s Graveyard, and Winding Cove in the EDZ.
Xur Exotic and Legendary Items
The Wolf King is your Xur weapon of the week, a fun rifle-shotgun combo that can annihilate enemies at close range. The gun features two firing modes that allow you to switch between a potent shotgun blast and a multiple, fusion-like blast. If you don’t like his other options, Xur also sells an Exotic engram that decrypts from the world drop pool into an Exotic you don’t already own. Note that you can only buy one per week, and the engram is specific to the character level that bought it – so if you want to get a new titan helmet, don’t buy the engram with the warlock. In addition to changing locations, Xur’s inventory will also rotate weekly. That means it’s worth visiting him every time to see his new weapons and scrolls of exotic and legendary armor. Wolf King (shotgun)
Rip through enemies at close range with the Wolf King.
The Wolf King had a brief reign in the Crucible, but it’s still a deadly short-range gun that cuts through enemies with ease.Shotgun fires a short-range blast of solar energy, but it becomes real Deadly when you use its alternate fire mode. This converts the shotgun from a single small burst to a longer multi-shot burst, making the Wolf King feel more like a cross between a shotgun and a fusion rifle. Land all these shots and you’re sure to hurt your target.
Heavenly Nighthawk (Hunter)
A mainstay for hunters, this is an exotic that you should stash, although Xur’s stats this week may or may not work well with your build. Exotic trades your normal Golden Gun Super for a single powerful shot; coupled with the Hunter’s Golden Gun perk that provides precision damage, it’s a great way to deal a lot of damage to bosses at once. Use this Exotic for raids and other premium content when quick boss kills are critical to you and your fireteam.

Impenetrable Skeleton Fortress (Titan)
Dressed in an impenetrable skeleton fortress, keep yourself alive by slamming your enemies.
The Insurmountable Skullfort is an Exotic, and you’ll probably keep that in mind when Bungie releases its Arc 3.0 update next season. Whenever you kill an enemy with an Arc melee ability, the helmet starts your health regeneration and restores melee energy. If this sounds interesting to you, consider grabbing this dungeon, as Xur has decent toughness and very good strength stats.
