Activision unveils Snoop Dogg DLC for Warzone, Vanguard and Call of Duty Mobile

Activision’s official Call of Duty Twitter account teased the arrival of Snoop Dogg to Warzone, Vanguard and Call of Duty Mobile via a short video featuring a golden dog tag and smoke.
While the Twitter video doesn’t announce what role the rapper will play in each title, previously leaked skins suggest Snoop Dogg will at least be a playable operator for use in Vanguard and Warzone. The operator skin shared by famed Call of Duty leaker “ZestyCODLeaks” has been removed, but it shows a Pioneer-themed Snoop Dogg adorned with a gold chain, fedora and sunglasses.
Given the date listed on the dog tag in the video, players can expect Snoop Dogg to debut on Call of Duty Mobile on April 1. He’ll be arriving in Warzone and Vanguard on April 19th, but it feels like a missed opportunity to save Snoop’s entrance for April 20th.
Of course, this won’t be Snoop Dogg’s debut in the Call of Duty franchise, as the iconic rapper also appeared in 2013’s Call of Duty: Ghosts as a voice-over DLC pack. Players can purchase Snoop’s narration to replace the game’s battle announcer, adding more flavor to Ghost’s multiplayer mode.
The rapper’s new DLC will follow this year’s Call of Duty Crossover and Attack on Titan, with bundles themed around Levi and the Armored Titans. Additionally, with the upcoming Season 2 Reload update, players can expect major updates to Warzone and Vanguard later this month.
