AGDQ anchor beats Sekiro boss blindfolded and makes us all look bad

Like From Software’s more famous Dark Souls games, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is one of the toughest – and the early boss Gyoubu has one of the toughest fights in the game. Now, as part of the AGDQ 2022 event, streamer Mitchriz took down the blindfolded Sekiro boss, and we all look terrible by comparison.

The latest Awesome Games Done Quick event is now hosting a series of livestreams for charities, with AGDQ 2022 quickly raising over $1 million for the Cancer Prevention Foundation in record time. While all the speedruns have been impressive so far, going up against one of the toughest bosses in one of the toughest games hasn’t been a hit or miss. able to see the screen is a whole new level.

However, Streamer Mitchriz does exactly that. As part of yesterday’s livestream, you can check out the entire fight below, with the Gyoubu boss fight taking place around 17 minutes into their blindfolded quick run. Mickey Ritz managed the entire game in a respectably fast run time of about two hours — remember, the whole thing was completely blind.

Of course, it wasn’t just some random fun, and it wasn’t the first time Mitchriz had done it — they’d been practicing for a while, and their first speedrun attempt took more than twice as long.

Still, what seems to resonate with fans is that Gyoubu fight — or, at least, leaving everyone frustrated by their own lack of skill.
