AMD reportedly closer to releasing Ryzen Zen 4 CPUs

New reports claim that AMD will soon pass a major milestone in the production of Zen 4-based Ryzen 7000 processors, suggesting that a new contender for the title of best gaming CPU could soon emerge.
The ever-reliable hardware leaker Tyrannosaurus 55 post Zen 4 The Ryzen 7000 CPU-based “soon to enter mass production phase” is one step closer to launch. However, that doesn’t mean the processors are ready to roll out immediately, as Greymon55 emphasizes that Ryzen 5000 chips will take four months to arrive after entering the same point in the manufacturing process.
If the Zen 4 Ryzen 7000 CPUs follow a similar trajectory to their Zen 3 predecessors, we could see AMD charting a course for a September release date. This could give Team Red a head start on its main competition, as Intel has yet to announce when it plans to launch its upcoming 13th Gen Raptor Lake chips.
If you don’t want to wait to plug a Zen 4 chip into your gaming PC, AMD might have a Ryzen 7 5800X3D for you. It’s the company’s first processor to use 3D V-Cache, and the red team touts it as “the world’s fastest gaming CPU.”

Alternatively, if you have an LGA1700 motherboard, a 12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900KS might be more suitable for your needs. Interestingly, the blue team describes its new CPU as “the fastest desktop processor in the world”, but it remains to be seen which CPU will stand out.
