AMD Zen 4 Ryzen gaming CPUs could arrive as early as Q3 2022

At a product launch earlier this year, AMD revealed plans to launch Zen 4 Ryzen processors sometime in the second half of 2022. While many believe we won’t see an AM5 chip until the fourth quarter, new rumors suggest we might not have to wait long to see anything. Undoubtedly the best gaming CPU the red team has ever made.
hardware leaker Tyrannosaurus 55 Claims that Zen 4 will arrive by the third quarter of 2022, and that AMD’s plans are “very different from the early days.” What exactly that means isn’t entirely clear, but it could be that the company changed course after the surprisingly stiff competition offered by the 12th-generation Intel Core processors.
When Twitter users asked for a more specific date, Tyrannosaurus 55 It’s great to reveal that the new Ryzen 7000 CPUs will arrive by August, which means they’ll be with us sometime in July. If AMD can stick to this release date, it could give them a significant lead over Intel’s 13th-generation Core processors, codenamed Raptor Lake, which are also scheduled to arrive later this year.
Before AM4 is overtaken by its successor, AMD plans to release one last CPU for the platform: the Ryzen 7 5800X3D. The chip boasts a whopping 96MB of L3 cache, which should be a great addition to any gaming PC if crypto miners certainly aren’t consuming all available inventory.

As far as GPUs go, 2022 is also going to be a big year for AMD and Intel, with both companies set to release their best graphics cards to date along with RDNA3 and Arc Alchemist pixel pushers later this year.
