Blizzard measures price of Wrath of the Lich King Classic Edition

A new player survey from Blizzard has revealed possible price points for World of Warcraft and Wrath of the Lich King Classic — and the MMO game developer also appears to be hinting at microtransactions for the next World of Warcraft Classic expansion.
Last month, players reported that Blizzard had sent them a survey to gauge their interest in a possible World of Warcraft Classic version of the Wrath of the Lich King expansion.Previously, Blizzard did the same thing The Burning Crusade, followed a year later.
There’s now another survey (via WoWhead) directly discussing Wrath of the Lich King and the pricing of a possible expansion. Blizzard appears to be deciding between the two pack options, along with the additional DLC that goes with it. The lower $29.99 bundle features enhancements, character transfers, pets, a month of free play, and a Lich King-themed mount for both modern and classic World of Warcraft. A $49.99 bundle might contain all of that, with further boosts — including one for the Death Knight — and a toy that triggers various cosmetic effects.
Players just have to decide which of these package options is attractive, or neither. They can also decide which DLCs are attractive, possibly microtransactions next to the bundles.
Of course, if The Burning Crusade is any indication, fans will be waiting a long time before the Lich King expansion actually hits World of Warcraft.
