CD Projekt is still ‘working on’ the Cyberpunk 2077 expansion
The expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 continues, according to the RPG game’s mission director Paweł Sasko, who confirmed that the team at CD Projekt is still “working on” the DLC — and further improvements after last month’s big 1.5 update .
The latest massive Cyberpunk 2077 patch adds a number of welcome changes to the beleaguered open-world game, including a “next-gen” update and the ability to customize player characters after starting the game. However, there’s more to come, including the first official Cyberpunk 2077 expansion.
In his latest Twitch stream (via Reddit and TheGamer), Cyberpunk 2077 quest designer Paweł Sasko was asked what CD Projekt RED is working on post 1.5. He replied, “Unfortunately, I can’t tell you anything about our future plans” before moving on to talk about the team’s future plans. “I can assure you that we’re working on expansions and stuff for you,” he said, adding that “we’re still improving the game because we all know there’s work to be done.”
Sasko also said the team “I’m glad you liked 1.5, it gave us more… motivation to work for you because you liked and expressed appreciation for it, and you played the game – it’s awesome! ” View below.

Beyond that, the developers can only say “We’re working on something for you. I’m reviewing missions every day, talking to people about things, so it’s happening.” As for when the expansion for the cyberpunk game will arrive, we can only Guessing at this point.
