Cyberpunk 2077 devs don’t plan to add subway to game

Sad news, Cyberpunk 2077 fans, if you were hoping one day CD Projekt Red might introduce a fully functional subway system in its dystopian RPG – the studio has now confirmed it has no plans.

The subway system in Cyberpunk 2077 is, for now, a minor aspect of the game, with several NCART station entrances (which you can’t get into) offering fast travel points around Night City. Players have previously spotted signs of an unused monorail system in the game, and the subway system featured in early promotional materials, such as the E3 2018 trailer and wallpapers of Male V riding the subway. All of this naturally leaves players wondering if some kind of fully functional train system will one day be in the game – but it seems the answer is no.

“Sorry to be a buzz-killer, but it’s not. There are no plans to add Metro to the game,” explained CDPR Global Community Director Marcin Momot on Twitter (below) Reply few tweets Suggesting that the NCART website on the in-game internet says “under construction” may suggest that the subway is under construction.
