Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.52 Fixes More Bugs That Hinder Progress

Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.52 is here, which is great news for those who are still facing some quest blocking bugs. While I’ve always had a soft spot for some silly mistakes in RPGs, the best-case scenario is CD Projekt Red squashing them.

The Cyberpunk 2077 update fixes issues with ten different quests that could prevent players from completing the story. A glitch in Automatic Love will cause the player to die if the player wanders into the elevator in Megabuilding H8.Another bug in Blistering Love causes Johnny to disappear if you leave the booth before interacting with the projector, making progress A little bit hard.

In addition to other quest fixes, you get a ton of game improvements. You will no longer suffer from multiple wrecked or nomadic cars that can spawn if you drive too fast. CD Projekt Red also fixed an issue where you could repeat the first equip animation after recycling a throwing knife. Finally, there are some UI and visual quality-of-life improvements that also make things smoother.

If you want to read the patch notes in full, they can be found here. The update is rolling out now, so it should be waiting for you the next time you log in.

In other Night City news, CD Projekt Red reiterated that a major expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 is in the works. This is part of a recent surprise reveal of a new wizarding saga.
