Death Stranding Director’s Cut Version will officially land on Steam and Epic this spring

Death Stranding received an excellent PC port in 2020, so it was disappointing to see the updated Director’s Cut version only released on PlayStation 5 last year. Some leaks this week indicate that the PC port of the new content is only a matter of time, and publisher 505 Games has now confirmed that Director’s Cut will land on home computers.
Director’s Cut’s new Steam list is completely separate from the original game, so it is more than just DLC. It is not clear whether the owner of the original version on the PC will have an upgrade path, but 505 said that more information will be provided “at the end of January.” On PlayStation 5, owners of the original Death Stranding can upgrade to the director’s cut version for $10/10 Euro.
The game will be launched simultaneously on Steam and Epic Games Store this spring. It will include all the PC-centric improvements that the original version of Death Stranding touted, such as high frame rate and ultra-wide display support, and Intel’s XeSS upgrade technology.
If you are looking for more previous PlayStation exclusive games to play on PC, then “God of War” will be available on Steam later this month.
