But why should PC gamers specifically opt for Dell’s Cyber Monday deals? After all, you can always assemble your own gaming PC, buy the best gaming laptop from another manufacturer, or usually just buy a standard PC for less. Building your own PC is satisfying and can be done quite cheaply if you shop around, but there are a few reasons why opting for a Dell-approved machine can save you some trouble.
While you’ll often pay more for an Alienware kit (and a Dell PC in general), you’re getting a lot of guarantees here. Dell’s warranty is always good, so if you’re nervous about spending so much money on a gaming PC, you can rest assured. Alienware rigs always look great, and they use premium components, so you know you’re getting a well-built machine that uses parts from some of the best manufacturers.

Like most other retailers, Dell is holding on to its best Black Friday deals on November 29th. Many of these deals are still active, and we hope to see more on Cyber Monday.
Cyber Monday used to be the day with the biggest tech and PC discounts, but it’s somewhat confused with Black Friday. You’ll still see some great PC deals this Monday, but if you don’t find what you’re looking for, it’s usually your last chance to get some big savings on a laptop or PC.
What will be on sale during Cyber Monday?

While most of Dell’s Cyber Monday deals will focus on PCs and laptops, there will always be a handful of other products on sale. These will still interest PC gamers, because it’s probably what you’re looking for at home anyway. Here are some other things you should be aware of.
1. Gaming monitor
While Alienware and Dell screens aren’t usually on our list of the best gaming monitors, they’re still great panels, depending on your needs. The Alienware line does tend to be quite expensive for what you get, but most offer very solid specs, and if you can grab one for a bargain on Cyber Monday, you might find yourself with a great 165Hz screen or A 4K-capable monitor future proofs you over the next few upgrade cycles. While we do consider value for money when testing monitors, which is often a reason we rule out Alienware screens, they’re still excellent panels with solid specs, so if you find a good deal… go Bar. As far as Dell monitors go, well, if you’re on a budget and don’t mind a solid TN screen, they’re usually just over $100. They’ll perform well and be pretty reliable, so if you get a good deal here, if that saves you a ton of money.
2. 4K TV
On the other side of the gaming screen divide, Dell also sells 4K TVs, and, you know, they’re usually pretty cheap. You can often find LG OLED sets at Dell’s sales at very deep discounts, and they’re worth buying knowing that you’ll get free shipping and a variety of additional financing offers. While the new LG E9 series does offer G-sync, you probably won’t be using a 4K TV for PC gaming, but we all need somewhere to sit and watch Netflix in style.

3. Smart Home Technology
Not the biggest or sexiest deals on Cyber Monday, but you can often get discounted prices on things like the Google Home Mini through Dell. There’s no particular reason to buy these products from a website other than say Amazon or Walmart, unless you can get something much cheaper. However, it’s worth keeping an eye on all the offers Dell has, as they’re really aggressively reducing prices on smart tech on Cyber Monday and the general holiday season.
4. Gaming Headset
Likewise, the Alienware headphones you can get may not represent the best value. They’re fine, but we’d rather have a pair of Steelseries, Razer or Sennheiser cans every day. Still, if Dell dropped the price of its headphones by 30 percent, it would be a worthwhile deal. So if you do need some new audio in your life, keep an eye out.
How to save money on Dell Cyber Monday deals

While just finding these discounts may be enough, there are other ways to save money on Dell Cyber Monday deals to sweeten the purchase. Here are some specific tips, along with additional money-saving advice.
1. Check for extra code
Dell has a habit of stacking codes and specials. So, for example, when you choose to pay with finance, you can usually get an extra 5% off the total price, which allows you to get more money. It’s worth checking to see if your purchases actually have additional offers or codes attached, and if so, you’ll need to enter those codes at checkout, otherwise they won’t apply. We always list extra savings whenever we see them.
2. Get free stuff
Another perk that Dell offers is free stuff. Some PCs come with a free keyboard and mouse, while others offer free upgrades to certain components. We also see gifts like prepaid Visa cards, often with around $200 in bonus cash, allowing you to spend as much as you want. It’s these little extras that really make you feel good about buying a new laptop or PC, so keep an eye out. At the very least, you should expect free games no matter what PC you buy!
3. Spend money to get more
This is more of a general piece of advice, but… whenever we shop for a Cyber Monday sale, we always want to stay within our budget on big-ticket items like laptops and PCs. This means that if we set a budget of $1,500 for a laptop, it’s better to spend all of that if we can. With the discount, you’ll get a much better laptop for $1,500 on Cyber Monday than you’ll get for $1,500 the rest of the year. Cyber Monday deals allow you to spend more on more PCs or laptops, and trying to get extra power is a lot better than saving a few hundred bucks on a low-spec machine. Also, the more you spend, the bigger the discount tends to be. A $1,000 laptop might be $100 off, but a $2,000 laptop might be $400-$500 off.
