DnD Direct feature game revealed, Baldur’s Gate 3 teased

There’s a new D&D Direct livestreaming this week, showing off some “exclusive reveals” from the Dungeons & Dragons universe – which could include a new DnD game, and maybe even something to do if the teasers in the trailer are accurate Baldur’s Gate 3.
Wizards of the Coast has announced a live broadcast of Dungeons & Dragons on Thursday, April 21, which will feature 30 minutes of news, updates, and reveal. The site makes it clear that this includes video games.This may include new D&D game announcements, but Twitter Confirmed this includes updates – the only two games are Baldur’s Gate 3 and Dark Alliance 2 re-releases.
The live-action Dungeons & Dragons movie is teased in the trailer below, but the final footage strongly hints at Baldur’s Gate 3 news. It has an Xbox keyboard, a Mindflayer, and the hamster Boo – a former companion of Minsc, a character in all major Baldur’s Gate RPG games. Whether that means a release date announcement for Baldur’s Gate 3, however, remains to be seen.

The Dungeons & Dragons live stream will begin on Thursday, April 12 at 9AM PDT / 12PM ET / 5PM BST / 6PM CST. The stream can be viewed on YouTube and Twitch.
