Dragon Age 4 won’t be on EA Play, but neither will EA

EA Play 2022 won’t happen, which means everything from Dragon Age 4 to Skate 4 will have to save their announcements to a different location. EA’s annual live show usually takes place before E3 each summer, but today the publisher has confirmed that there will be no such event this year.

“We love EA Play Live because it’s our way of connecting with players and sharing new things with everyone,” an EA representative told IGN. “However, things don’t line up this year to show you everything on one date. Exciting things are happening in our world-class studios, and we’ll reveal more about them this year at every opportune moment. Information on the project. We look forward to spending time with you throughout the year!”

Several EA studios already plan to make announcements outside of EA Play. The Dragon Age team intends to announce more “in the form of blog and social content” this year. Dead Space developers are running a series of development-focused streams. Insiders have hinted that the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be revealed in May.

One day we’ll know the actual Dragon Age 4 release date. Currently, inside information says it will be launched by the end of 2023.
