Dying Light 2 co-op will let everyone vote on story choices

📱

We’ve known for years that Dying Light 2 will feature a co-op mode, and now, just a few weeks before the game’s launch, the developers are finally showing the feature in action. Dying Light 2 offers four-player co-op, as briefly demonstrated in the final development stream ahead of launch.

One player will act as the host of the multiplayer game, and they will retain any story progress made in the cooperative game. The developers have confirmed that you can also complete the game in multiplayer. Your friends will keep any items or character progression earned in co-op mode. When you choose a story, everyone can vote on what you should do — but the moderator has the final say on the decision.

Techland also showed a series of console comparisons on current and previous-gen platforms, and while this might be most relevant to PC gamers, it at least provided an idea of how the game might look on older hardware. Dying Light 2 system requirements have been around for a while, if you want to see if your PC meets the requirements.

Dying Light 2 has a release date set for February 4, 2022, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S and X. A cloud-based streaming version will also be available on the Nintendo Switch. Don’t worry – whether you want to spend 20 hours or 500 playing it, Dying Light 2 is clearly for you.
