Dying Light 2 system requirements are finally here, giving you plenty of time to get your gaming PC ready before the February release date. While the barrier to entry for Techland’s new zombie game is low, the hardware requirements can quickly get steeper if you plan to turn on the game’s ray tracing capabilities.
Yes, this is the plural feature. Ray-traced global illumination, reflections, and shadows can all be turned on to push Dying Light’s visual fidelity even higher, provided you have a compatible GPU. However, there is a performance cost to turning on either of these settings. To combat this, Techland recommends that you equip your system with one of the best graphics cards on the market, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080.
Thankfully, if your rig struggles to maintain target frame rates, Nvidia DLSS upscaling should help improve fps. Unfortunately, there’s no word on AMD FSR support, so those with Radeon GPUs aren’t so lucky.
