Elden Ring enemy randomization mod looks like pure chaos
An Elden Ring enemy randomization module is in development that will randomly change the position and strength of all enemies in an RPG game, so it’s possible to fight Margit and face someone like Malenia or Starscourge Radahn.
There are already many great game randomizer mods on PC, but the most terrifying ones have to be those from FromSoftware games like Dark Souls and Sekiro, as even the most basic of enemies can already be used in a few minutes. Down hit kills the player.
Well, now the Elden Ring piece is in the works, courtesy of modder Matt ‘thefifthmatt’ Gruen. He’s the creator of the Elden Ring item randomizer mod, which changes the position of every item in the game – everything from items in the world to important enemy drops. It’s confusing enough, but the modder confirmed that he’s also working on a combined enemy and item randomization mod. Now Gruen has released the first glimpse of a random Elden Ring boss encounter, and it’s as terrifying as you might think.
You can check it out below. Small spoiler for one of the most famous bosses in the game, but seeing the player face Margit through a foggy wall… that guy instead.

Sadly, there’s no word yet on when we can expect the Elden Ring enemies and item randomizer mods to appear. There’s also a VR mod and a co-op mod coming soon, but again, we don’t know when they’ll show up.
