Fortnite may get Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

A new rumor suggests the Fortnite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover could be coming to Epic’s wildly popular battle royale game, as the developer has apparently signed a deal with Paramount — meaning other properties too. Possibly coming, like Star Trek or SpongeBob SquarePants.
On the latest episode of the Xbox Era podcast — which often reveals surprising rumors, such as the revelation from the previous episode that Rare’s Everwild was a “mess,” or, more appropriately, about Doom coming to Fortnite — host Nick ‘Shepshal Nick’ Baker said a source told him that Paramount had signed with Epic to bring its properties to Fortnite, noting that “what I’ve heard is mostly
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”.
Of course, nothing has been confirmed, and rumors often go wrong — or take a long time. Spider-Man and Naruto were rumored for months before Fortnite actually came out, and the so-called Matrix collaboration ended up being just a few emotes and a free Sentinel glider.
However, if this particular rumor is true, the collaboration between Epic and Paramount will open the door to more crossovers than just Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Nick wasn’t sure, but mentioned Star Trek as a possibility, eg.

Fortnite leaker Shiina reminds us that Paramount has Nickelodeon, so possibilities include Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Legend of Korra, and even SpongeBob SquarePants. I could see Brother Octopus running around the island with an assault rifle.
