Godzilla and Titans TV show roars to Apple TV Plus

Godzilla and Titans and the rest of the Monsterverse will be getting a huge deal with Apple TV+ in the new series. The untitled show will follow the events of Godzilla: King of the Monsters and will showcase the inner workings of the secretive organization Monarch and its impact on the family.
The new series will be produced by Legendary TV and executive produced by Chris Black, whose credits include castaways from AMC and Star Trek: Enterprise, will also serve as showrunner. He will be joined by comics writer Matt Fraction and Safehouse Pictures’ Joby Harold and Tory Tunnell. On the Toho side, Hiro Matsuoka and Takemasa Arita will executive produce.
Legendary’s Monsterverse started with 2014’s “Godzilla,” then 2017’s “Kong: Skull Island,” then “Godzilla: King of the Monsters,” and finally last year’s premiere in theaters and HBO Max. “Godzilla vs. Kong”. A planned animation of Skull Island. It was Godzilla’s first serial since “Godzilla: The Series,” more in line with the 1998 live-action film — which also led to a years-long rift between Toho and the American studio.
The untitled Monsterverse series will premiere on Apple TV worldwide. No cast or premiere date has been announced.
