Hearthstone Cards Revealed – Meet the Radar Detector

⌨️

A new expansion is coming, so we’re doing a Hearthstone card showcase for the radar detector. The two-cost Epic Paladin spell contains the following text: “Scan the bottom five cards of your deck. Draw any mechs you find this way, then shuffle the deck”.

If you’re playing the Heavy Mech Paladin deck, this card looks easy, as there’s a good chance you’ll be able to draw at least one Mech without using any Azsharak. Unfortunately, there aren’t many candidates in the standard worth considering when building a mech-only Paladin deck. However, this seems to be much better when used in Wild. Not only do Paladins have some great mechs in the old deck, but some wild mechs are some of the best cards Hearthstone has ever seen.

We think Radar Detector needs some support to call it a must-choice, but it definitely has some potential as more cards are added to the game.

The latest Hearthstone expansion takes players to the ancient night elf city of Zin Ashari on Voyage to the Sunken City. We’ve had a chance to reveal the Blackwater Behemoth, a new giant legendary minion exclusive to the Priest class. Colossal is the latest keyword to be added to the card game, reserved for huge followers who need multiple spaces on the board.

Although Nagas has been featured in Hearthstone for years, these minions finally have their own tribal tag to create a unique synergy. These spell-focused creatures can be very powerful when paired with the right deck, giving you the tools you need to burn down your opponents.

The final keyword introduced in this expansion is mining, which allows you to look at the three cards at the bottom of your deck and choose one to add to your hand. This keyword works well with Azshara cards to place a sunken card at the bottom of your deck. If you combine these two effects, you can create powerful mid-game combos to surprise your opponents. Our Hearthstone card showcase may not use the “dredging” keyword, but it works similarly to this new feature.
