Here are all the quirky indie games from the WASD Curio series
New consumer video game show WASD has revealed the full lineup of indie games that make up WASD Curios as part of an event that lets developers showcase their goodies for free.
If you head to Tobacco Docks in Wapping, London between April 7th and 9th, there are 13 events for you to play. You can play Albert Wilde: Quantum PI, which is about solving murders, flirting, and maybe discovering a wormhole in another universe.you are a cat too quite ideal. You also have a virtual and mixed reality project called 7,100 AD: Air, which explores the world building after six mass extinctions through the avatars of wild bees.
WASD Curios was originally revealed in February as part of a new consumer video game show taking place during this year’s London Games Festival. The title of the game is to give indie developers a platform to showcase “projects that don’t belong in the mainstream; do things a little differently,” as the show’s blog announcement at the time explained. But what does “different” mean? In this case, it might apply to games not far in the development process, toying with what “game” means, or even games that use innovative or non-traditional controllers.
