How to Unlock Secret Characters in Vampire Survivor
Wondering how to unlock secret characters in Vampire Survivor? When you start your first run, you only have a handful of characters and a few weapons available. However, with each playthrough, more items, weapons, and characters are unlocked for you to use in future attempts.
These items are essential if you wish to use the Vampire Survivor weapon evolution to maximize your weapon’s damage output. The game also locks in new characters upon request, such as upgrading your gear to a certain threshold, finding items in a level, or killing a certain number of monsters.
Some of these unlock conditions are a bit vague, so we thought we’d list how to get all the vampire survivor characters, weapons, items, and levels. We also have a cheat code you need to enter to get another hidden vampire slayer, as well as steps to access a secret character that requires you to modify the game code.
Vampire Survivor Secret Unlocked
Here are all the Vampire Survivors unlocked:

- Akka – Upgraded Fire Wand to level 4
- Porta – Upgrade the Lightning Ring to level 4

- Cleric – Restores 1,000 HP for life
- Motaccio – Defeat 3,000 skeletons in total
- Domario – Get 5,000 coins at a time
- Crouch – Defeat 100,000 enemies in total
- dash – Enter “x-x1viiq” on the main menu, a beep will sound

- Lancet – Find Orologion by breaking the candle until it appears
- cross – Find the rosary by breaking the candle until it appears
- light ring – Defeat 5,000 enemies in total
- Ebony Wings – Raise Peach to level 7

- wing – Reach level 5
- crown – Reach level ten
- Bracers – Upgrade the King’s Bible to level 4
- candelabra – Raise Holy Water to level 4
- spell binder – Raise Rune Tracker to level 7
- empty book – Possess six different weapons
- clover – Find the little clover by breaking the candle until it appears
- magnet – Find the vacuum by breaking the candle until it appears
- Pentagram – Survive 20 minutes with any character
- stone mask – Walk right from the run in the mosaic library for about three minutes until you find it at the top of the level
- Tirajisu – Survive 20 minutes with Krochi

How to Unlock Missingno in Vampire Survivor
Here’s how to unlock Missingno as a playable character in Vampire Survivors:
- Go to the game entry in Steam
- Right click and hover over Manage
- Click “Browse Local File”
- Open Assets > Application > .webpack > Renderer
- Open “main.bundle.js” in an application like Notepad+
- Find instances of the word “Garlic” in the file (you can use the Ctrl-F shortcut to search)
- Find the text that says “power”: 0.5 and change its value to “power”: 100,000,000
- Save changes and open the game
- Start running with Poe in the library, don’t evolve Garlic into Soul Eater
- Reach level 30 and you should kill death when he rushes in
- Quit the game and add Missingno to your list
Make sure to go back to the main.bundle.js file in the game code after unlocking Missingno or reinstall the game to reset Garlic’s power to 0.5.
