It’s that time again, League of Legends fans. Patch 12.3 has made the leap from the PBE of MOBA games to live servers, which means it’s time for a new beta cycle to begin. League of Legends patch 12.4 is here, with two weeks of testing and tinkering, and there’s already a lot to check out.
The big news for this patch is the arrival of yet another new hero. Following Zeri’s release of League of Legends patch 12.2, Renata Glasc is now making its PBE debut. Known as the Baroness of Chemistry, she is a powerful figure with a “legacy of advanced technology” from Zaun, who has risen to become the richest chemical baron in the region – “a man who works by aligning everyone’s interests with her own” Mysterious, persuasive, and somewhat callous-sounding, Renata Glasc was introduced as a support hero. Elsewhere in this patch, we’ve got some new Shockblade skins for champions Kassadin, Shen, and Qiyana, and the newly improved Firelight Ekko – which was previously delayed – is on the way now.

League of Legends Patch 12.4 Release Date and Downtime
According to the patch schedule for League of Legends Season 12, League of Legends patch 12.2 release date set for Wednesday, February 16, 2022.
Maintenance times are yet to be determined, but typically starts at 3AM PT (North America servers), 5AM UK time (Europe servers), and 3AM CET (Europe servers), and lasts about three hours, so downtime is expected Time will start around then.

Renata Glass’ abilities
Leverage (passive):
Abilities: Renata Glassk’s basic attacks mark her enemies and deal bonus damage. Damage from Renata’s allies consumes the marker, dealing additional damage.
Handshake (Q):
Ability: Renata Glasc fires a missile from her robotic arm, immobilizing the first enemy it hits. She can reactivate her ability to throw enemies in the target direction, dealing damage and stunning enemies hit if the target of the throw is a hero.
Bailout (W):
Ability: Renata Glasc causes an allied hero or herself to increase attack speed and movement speed towards the enemy. The buff duration is reset if allies knock down an enemy hero. If an ally dies while Rescue is still active, their health is restored to full, but they will start burning to death within 3 seconds. Allies can stop the burn by taking down champions before they die.
Loyalty Program (E):
Abilities: Renata Glasc fires chemical tech rockets, protecting allies and hurting and slowing enemies they pass by. Rockets also cast effects around her and explode at maximum range.
Hostile Takeover (R):
Abilities: Renata Glasc unleashes a volley of chemicals that rampage enemies, increasing their attack speed and forcing them to perform basic attacks on anything around them. Raging enemies attack their allies first, then neutral units, then Renata Glasc’s team, then Renata Glasc himself.
