Lost Ark Doubles Players One Month After Global Release

Just over two years after its initial launch in South Korea, Lost Ark went global in February with the support of Amazon Games, and it looks like the global launch was a resounding success. The developer announced in a press release that the global version of the game has now surpassed 20 million users.
As of March 7, the global player count of Lost Ark has exceeded 20 million. The developers said 10 million of those players came from new regions such as North America, Europe, South America and Australia. In the first three days after the Western release alone, 4.7 million new players joined the game.
The player count of the MMO has set a record for the number of concurrent players we can see publicly on Steam. It was the fifth game on Steam to surpass 1 million concurrent players and had the second-highest peak player count in the platform’s history. It also attracts players very well and still regularly peaks at over 800k per day.
