Lost Ark Hunt for the Guardians Killer update arrives on March 10: full patch notes

As part of its March 10 update for The Guardian Killer, Amazon detailed all the new content for its MMORPG Lost Ark, including everything from new endgame content to a limited-time event inspired by Mario Kart.

As previously mentioned, the update will introduce the game’s first Abyssal Raid, an 8-player endgame boss battle with a massive Guardian. The first launch of Argos will be divided into three distinct phases, each with a separate reward table that can be claimed once a week. Players need an item level of at least 1370 to participate in the new content, and must first complete the associated guided quest to unlock the feature.

A new limited-time event is also coming to the game – the Arkesia Grand Prix. The tournament will pit two seven-player teams against each other in a single match. Players need to be level 50 to participate, and the event will last about a month.

This update will also introduce new story content, new islands, and set the stage for the game’s first competitive Proving Grounds PvP season. There will also be a series of new login bonuses for players to claim daily, which will be available ahead of the game’s April update.

While Lost Ark’s concurrent player count has dropped since its release week of record 1.3 million concurrent players on Steam, the game remains wildly popular. Amazon said it will seek to address common criticisms about Lost Ark over gender-locked lessons and future exposure of women’s clothing, and it recently banned more than 1 million accounts of illegal bots in the game. The full patch notes for the March Update are below.

KADAN STORY episodes (including ISTERI and ILLUSION BAMBOO ISLANDS)

Experience an all-new storyline, including your own quests, new islands and movie moments. These missions will include a range of new and returning characters as you learn more about Stellar and find the legendary Cardan, the first Guardian Killer, on your journey to find the Final Ark.

Players need to complete Felton first and complete the following quests: “Jorn – Let the Light Be”, “Whisper Island – The Beginning of Our Story” and “Bamboo Island – The Trials End” as prerequisites before starting the new end game quest line. Both Isteri and Illusion Bamboo are recommended for Item Level 1100 players.

Abyssal Raid: Argos

Similar to the Guardian Raids players encounter in Arkesia Adventures, participants need to work together to defeat the Guardian Argos before the time expires, and the team can get a limited number of resurrections. As a ruthless enemy, eight players need to face Argos.

Players will need to work through three distinct stages to defeat this mighty guardian. During these three phases, Argos will become more powerful with different mechanics and attack modes. Each stage has its own reward table (which can be collected once a week), and the item level requirements for players to participate are also different.

  • Stage 1 – Item Level 1370
  • Stage 2 – Item Level 1385
  • Stage 3 – Item Level 1400

To face Argos, players must first complete the wizard quest “Abyss Raid Unlocked!”. Eligible players can enter the battle through the abyss raid statues in major cities, where they can find comrades through matchmaking or finding specific teams. Players can also use the “Find a Team” button located below the minimap to find a group and enter battle.

General update

Axia Grand Prix

Looking for a change of pace after intense Abyssal Raids and Competitive Proving Ground matches? Just look at the limited-time Arkesia Grand Prix racing event coming out next month. In this mode, two teams of seven (7v7) will compete against each other, racing around a route while transforming and trying to progress towards their own goal while blocking the progress of the other team. Reach goals and eat cake to gain progress! Arkesia Grand Prix will last about a month after the March update until the April update.

An NPC named “Arkesia Grand Prix Manager” will arrive in every major city (except Prideholme) to help you enter the event, granting “[Event][Daily] Go to the arena! ” Seeking player entry. Players must be level 50 to participate in the event. Please note that there is a known issue where the message for this requirement is only available in-game in English.

Competitive Proving Ground Season 1

Unlike the rest of the March Update, the original March Update will set the stage for a competitive proving ground for Season 1, which kicks off later this month. We will keep you informed of the exact time when the season starts.

It’s time to start honing your player-versus-player skills – the first season of the competitive Proving Grounds is upon us; players can compete with each other for prestige and rewards. Players will be able to queue individually for Team Deathmatch mode. You can track your “game average” as you win or lose throughout the season. Your rank is determined by your score, as are the rewards you get at the end of the season. To participate, players need to participate in the Proving Grounds and reach Tier 1, so make sure to play some matches before Season 1 begins!

new skin

Added the Omen skin collection to the in-game store. These cosmetic items will be exchanged for Royal Crystals before the April Update release.

New login bonus

The March update will add a new track for players to earn rewards every day by logging in and claiming rewards. Rewards include a variety of useful materials such as Grind Materials, Harmonious Choice Chests, Card Packs, and more! The track will have 25 daily bonuses, plus additional bonuses at 10, 15 and 20 day thresholds. These rewards will continue until our April update.

Western Europe will receive a modified login bonus to help players in mobile regions catch up. We’ll be sharing more information for Western Europe players on our official forum soon.
