Meet the diverse developers of the London Game Festival ensemble

WASD took place earlier this month, and even if you couldn’t make it to London’s Tobacco Docks to join us in person, that doesn’t mean you missed it. (Or at least not quite.) We’re uploading the talk from the event to our YouTube channel so you can catch anything you haven’t seen, and today it’s the London Games Festival ensemble showcase a session with people.

Ensemble is a showcase for UK video game developers from Black, Asian and ethnic minorities. (You can check out more details on the annual showcase on the London Game Festival website.) Moderated by Thom Kaczmarek, Lecturer in Game Design at the University of the Arts London, the panel gave three current and former Ensemble members a talk about their work and their job opportunities. Industry experience.

The panelists included Silver Rain Games audio producer Jade Leamcharaskul, Die Gute Fabrik story lead and Netflix narrative designer Leah Muwanga-Magoye, and mobile app and video game developer Taiwo Omisore.

You can see the full panel below.

Earlier this week, we also featured Ali-A’s presentation on the business of content creation and uTure, a new weekly challenge show for aspiring creators.
