More Dying Light 2 fixes coming this week

Fixes for the new parkour game Dying Light 2 keep coming. The Zombies game had over 1,000 bugfix patches on day one, with more to come this week. Not exactly 1,000, although they should be handy.
The upcoming PC patch includes fixes for game crash bugs, various conditions that could cause infinite black screens, AI corpse duplication in co-op, and an issue where you couldn’t sell goodies to vendors. You’ll also get some DLSS improvements, which is neat. Techland is also looking to the future. The developers are working to fix an issue that would cause players to enter death loops, various story blocks, and a visual bug that was sometimes visible in the hospital’s “Plaguemaker” quest. The team is also working on other features, such as adding backup saving and exposing other video settings. English dubbing can even be enabled if the local language is not English.
Techland hasn’t given a release date for the patch, although the developers say it will be released “in the next few days.”

Aside from the odd stutter, Dying Light 2 is off to a good start. At one point, Dying Light 2 had five times as many players on Steam as the original Dying Light. We already have a Dying Light 2 mod that makes the night even more intense.
We’ve had a great time so far. We gave the new PC game a 6 out of 10 in our Dying Light 2 review, praising its “excellent parkour and combat mechanics.” However, we found that bugs, repetitive sub-content, poor storytelling, and “the unfulfilled promise of its choice and consequences system” prevented Dying Light 2 from taking full advantage of these strengths.
