Pokemon Go Community Day Classic featuring Bulbasaur arrives on January 22nd

After Spheal starred in the latest Pokemon Go Community Day last weekend, this weekend will see a second bonus Community Day – called the Community Day Classic, which focuses on the first Pokemon in the Pokedex.
Bulbasaur is the star of the Community Day Classic, which takes place on January 22nd from 2pm to 5pm local time. As the chances of catching Seed Pokemon increase, any Ivy Dragon that evolves into a Venus Dragon during or up to two hours after the event will learn the powerful Grass-type move Crazy Plant.

A limited-time Community Day special research story called “Bulbasaur Community Day Classic” will be available for purchase for $1.No specific details about research tasks or rewards, but Tickets are now available for pre-order For those who are interested anyway. Other Bulbasaur Community Day benefits include:
- Triple capture XP for each Pokemon captured
- Incense activated during the event will last for three hours instead of 30 minutes
- Decoy modules activated during the event will also last 3 hours instead of 30 minutes
- Some snapshots taken during the event will have “surprises”
Finally, the Item Shop will be hosting two Community Day specials throughout the event. Not only will 30 Ultra Balls be given away for free, but you can also use 1,280 PokeCoins to get a special one-time purchase Community Day Box. The special pack will include 50 Super Balls, 5 Lucky Eggs, 5 Star Shards and 1 Elite Charged TM.
The event is the second Pokemon Go Community Day in a week, following the Spheal-themed event on January 16th. This Community Day also marks the first time since March 2018 that Bulbasaur has been celebrated with monthly events, and at the time the third-ever Community Day event.
