Resident Evil 4 in Quest 2 gets free mercenaries

Announced today at the Meta Quest Game Showcase, the beloved mini-game Mercenaries is finally playable in Resident Evil 4’s Quest 2 port. Even better, not only is the wave-based mode free for existing owners of the game today, but it also brings a host of brand new challenges and features.
Armature Studio has task 2, which seems to have given the same care and attention to the VR port of the base game. The developers have also improved the base experience by introducing things like online leaderboards, allowing you to compare your score with other players around the world.
The 20 new challenges include games like “Wild West,” where you can take on hordes of Ganados while using two aptly themed six shooters at the same time. However, if you’re after something a little scary, Cover of the Night should pique your interest, including the appearance of the game’s terrifying regenerator enemies.
Your VR attack will also give you Resident Evil 4’s story mode unlocks, including character outfits, weapon skins, visual filters, game modifiers, and – my personal favorite – the always fun “Big Head Mode” “.
This free update is sure to put a smile on the faces of fans old and new, who are lucky enough to own the best VR headset. In the meantime, the rest of us will have to wait for the release of that elusive Resident Evil 4 Remake, no matter when.
